Biography

Jack Frederick (b. 2006) is a rising composer and saxophonist, currently studying classical composition at New England Conservatory under prof. Michael Gandolfi. In 2025, Frederick was named a winner of the CWU New Music Festival Call for Scores and twice a winner of the Phasma-Music call for scores, as well as selected to participate in BoCo’s songSLAM. He presented new work as part of his 1 month residency at Arts Letters & Numbers, as well as the High Score Festival in northern Italy.

During the summer of 2025, Jack will be attended the “Arts Letters and Numbers” artists retreat in Albany, NY for 3 weeks, as well as the High Score festival located in the Belluno Dolomites in northern Italy.
