Jack Frederick (b. 2006) is a rising composer and saxophonist. During his time spent at Interlochen Arts Academy, he has written many new works that have been performed by his peers. While at Interlochen, he has written a Brass Trio that won a school-wide competition and was performed by IAA faculty in Traverse City, MI in April, 2024.

Jack started as a saxophonist in the 6th grade, and began to take jazz lessons in high school. Currently, he sits as Tenor Saxophonist 1 in the Interlochen Arts Academy Jazz Orchestra and the Interlochen Wind Ensemble.
